Why is the Bible so long? It's taking me forever to read it.
It isn’t, compared to the scriptures of the Eastern Religions, with many thousands of pages. Or when you take into account that it is more of a library than a single book. Novels often reach lengths of 1000 pages or more.
The Bible is a rich and involved story, and not one that can be told quickly. Take a few pages a day, and you can easily read it through in a matter of months.
