How can we be certain about the side notes in some Bible versions? Can we trust the side notes as much as we trust the scriptures they represent? Are they not just people's opinions?
Footnotes, endnotes, and the extra bits of commentary found in nearly all Bibles (though especially study Bibles) are from man, not God. While they are often helpful and on target, they are also sometimes errant. So proceed with caution.
