Dr. Golightly shares his view on the implications of modern science for the narratives of the first chapters of Genesis. He strives, as a scientist and a Christian, to maintain both scientific and biblical integrity.
While supporting evolution, he also believes Adam & Eve were literal persons. Further, he takes the Flood to be a historical event, though not global.
I am aware that readers may or may not accept everything William writes, but the article is well done, and I hope you will read it sympathetically.
