Douglas:

Yesterday I was discussing apologetics with Jordan Brown, a brother from Indy who recently graduated from Purdue. During his undergraduate coursework, he took several semesters of Greek and developed a genuine interest in textual criticism. One of Jordan's professors recommended that he read Bart D. Ehrman's Misquoting Jesus: The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why. I was not familiar with the book, but noticed a review of it today at the following website.

After reading the review, it seems that the book has a similarity with "The Da Vinci Code" to the extent that it may undermine confidence in the scriptures among those who are unprepared to answer its challenges. Accordingly, the book referenced in the following link may be another valuable resource at a time when 1 Peter 3:15 is as relevant as ever.
