There are and were many false predictions about when the end will come. But this I don't know: Before a few weeks ago I had no idea about year 2012, but now it's on my mind a lot. A few weeks ago a brother from church told me that he had the clearest dream ever: In a very short time, the Lord Jesus will come back -- in the year 2012. So when I got home, I googled the year 2012 and was amazed at all I found. This brother loves God and people; and he is a missionary in his 50s, unfamiliar with the internet, and completely unaware that people are talking about the year 2012. He claimed that no one knows the exact day or hour, but we can know the season, because of the Mayan calendar, astrology, some scientists, and what counts most (the Bible). I would like to know what you think about that, based on your knowledge of the Word of God. -- S.M.

I am certain that these predictions are a combination of coincidence and false prophecy. "Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers and sisters, you do not need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night." -- 1 Thessalonians 5:1-2.

No one knows. Plain and simple! Do not listen to these voices and opinions.
