Located north of Venezuela, Anguilla is the most northerly of the Leeward Islands. Its land area is 91 square kilometers, population around 8500. The capital is The Valley (pop. 1300). 96% of Anguillans are of Afro-Caribbean extraction, most of whom belong to non-Catholic denominations. Tourism is virtually the only industry.
Anguilla may be a small land, but every soul is precious to God. Imagine the impact a handful of true disciples of Jesus Christ could make in such a close-knit community! Today, please pray that it will happen.
