From windy Tel-Aviv going north, then South through the West Bank to Jerusalem, we saw many Old Testament and New Testament characters, places and events from millennia ago in a surprisingly different light than when we’d only read the biblical text. Breathing in with our eyes closed brought to life the conversation between Jesus and His disciples at Caesarea Philippi, as well as the pressure He felt at the Garden of Gethsemane. How amazing to be able to pour out our hearts to God at the same location our Lord prayed!
