Have you ever seen this translation? This particular page on the site highlights the consistent translation of the original text. I think I'll get hold of a full copy. Of course, it does leave out the Septuagint Greek translation of the O.T., which I value since the early church used it so much. However, I imagine this could be very helpful to my studies of the Word. -- Fred Ichinose

The best translations render the same word different ways, not always the same way--which is generally poor style and often misleading. Father doesn't always mean father; it can also mean grandfather, ancestor, etc. The context determines the meaning, not just the lexicon.

So this seems like a hyper-literalistic translation to me.
