Are we responsible for sins that we commit in our dreams?
I do not think so! We do tend to dream about the things that have been on our minds throughout the day, so a violent or sordid dream may possibly indicate a spiritual problem, though this is not necessarily the case. Some people wrongly teach, "thinking about committing a sin is the same as committing it." This is a misunderstanding and over-interpretation of Matthew 5:28.
Since our dreams are beyond our control, I personally do not believe we are accountable for them.
